Welcome to the easternmost island of the Cyclades, with an elongated shape that seems to embrace the small Cyclades, Amorgos.
The island of endless blue, genuine beauty, energy, paths, winding roads, white landscape, wild nature, churches, traditional settlements, herbs, virgin beaches and residents with hospitable hearts.
Amorgos took its name from the amorgis plant, a type of flax from which the tunics of Amorgos (alikoi amorgides) were made in ancient times.
Its capital is the whitewashed settlement of the country developed around the Venetian castle on the top of the hill, and two bays constitute its ports, Katapola and Aegiali.
Untouched timelessness meets the traveler's gaze in the jewel of the Cyclades.
